A young cancer survivor from a small town in Ontario, Canada who has a passion for writing about my experiences.
I was diagnosed with Leukemia at 23 years old. After a week of induction chemotherapy, I was in remission. I received a stem cell transplant after enduring several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. On June 13 of 2014, I received my donated stem cells. I’m currently doing great despite requiring immunosuppressive medication to control graft vs host disease of the skin.
ONE DAY AT A TIME
